I use a mouth guard for my tight muscles/head aches. I was grinding/clenching my teeth, because of my stress at work :(! I personally use this mouth guard called the "StressGard" from TotalGard. This device is amazing haha. I can finally say my head is back on track. I tried medicine route .. but I was getting restless and what not .. hence I looked for a different solution. Did anyone have blurred vision with their tight muscles/head aches?

If the problem is caused by stress and tension, hypnosis could be a good solution, provided you have been checked by your doctor and you know the headaches are NOT being caused by something that needs medical attention. If you see a good hypnotherapist, they can teach you powerful and quick self-hypnosis, so that you can learn how to put yourself into a relaxed state instantly. You can also learn how to temporarily 'anaesthetise' parts of your body using self hypnosis.

I used to get severe migraines. The really bad ones where light would make me throw up and movement was painful. Was admitted to hospital several times with them. Then was treated by the top migraine doctor of the time. Nothing really worked. Then went through menopause and no more migraines. The same happened to a friend of mine, once she went through menopause no more migraines. With women many headaches can be hormonal.
