Very nice, first time this weekend and was very impressed!
Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious, cheap and i left with a full stomach.
It's lovely to find a healthy, tasty vegetarian resturant! :)

I really like this place.. They've got vegan cakes which are delicious, they've got a selection of hot dishes, salads.. and most things are vegan!
The potato and spinach koftas are absolutely delicious and are definitely worth going in for, alone!
So glad they're open weekends now.

Vege Rama has moved! We went in today and were in the Queen St Mall food court and there they were! Same yummy food but now on WEEKENDS!!! Yay!

The best service I've ever had at a takeaway joint! The staff were really friendly to everyone and gave free samples to anyone who hadn't been there before.
$8 for a takeaway container packed with "Aztec bake" and brown rice. Very nice and very convenient. I will definitely be giving them my business!

Went here for the first time today.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming. They even gave me a few samples of the different foods to help me decide :D!!
Food was really well priced & you get a generous serving. Will DEFS be going back here soon.
Food ranges from Indian, Thai & Western food!! All vegetarian, lots of Vegan options (& gluten free)!!

Impressive display of food, and I love the aroma! However, I always go back for the dosai (it is great!) I have the same for more than 5 times now and the waitress remembers me and knows exactly what I want to order before I ask! The staff is always cheerful and friendly. They serve dishes with wooden spoon which is very unique!

I had dosa, he had burger, each $8. Dosa fantastic, burger good. Went back and bought rice balls to take away and a kofta (1.50 each) that came with a tamarind sauce. Also bought walnut and banana cake and a fudge looking thing that had a texture a little like shortbread but was quite nice. They sell a vegan muesli and one of the guys that works there used to work at Squirrels as head chef. They don't have a website yet but have cooking classes that I am thinking of doing. Overall, was really happy with vegan food in the city, and so were a lot of officeworkers- it was very busy but did not impact on nice service!

I just had a tofu burger with hommus and sweet chilli - best i've ever had!! Staff were very lovely and they use environmentally friendly take-away containers. It's hard to find a quick tasty vegan lunch - so I will definitley be going back!

Located under H.S.B.C. bank building 300 Queen st Brisbane. Accessed through the queen st steps in post office square.Go down steps and turn to right follow arcade walk then turn first right again follow beside Gloria Genes then vege rama is right opposite. Vege burgers are fantastic $6.50 value

The food is a mix of Western and Indian, with chickpea curries next to Italian pizza breads. The food is very healthy - crunchy vegetable dishes and organic tofu, for example.
A very filling meal for under $10.

Went there today for lunch. Food was fantastic & the dhal didn't leave an aftertaste like some do. Can't go wrong with paying $7.50 and walking away full. Imagine that they should do really well in the popular & busy PO Square. Would totally recommend it to anyone.

we are tourist from singapore to brisbane. last week 15 of us had been to vego rama and lunch . and the food was excellant. it tastes like indian kakka.I am upset about the location , maybe they would have got it for free. but they would do very very good in singapore. there is no shop like this.

food was excellant. all curries are tasty although they are 2 weeks old. salt to be added little extra and as well chillies. otherwise very much perfect. front desk can extend their service outisde the shop hour, it would be great. i hope you know what i mean.

Excellent. Yummy food and good value for money ($6.50 for takeaway 3 curries and rice). So nice to have a food court option at Post Office Square. The best thing is the staff know what a vegan is (none of the blank stares you get at Sanitarium!).

This is a great place in the city under Post office square - great to grab a quick takeaway lunch if you work in the city. I really enjoy their food!
Majority of their stuff is vegan.
They also do organic coffee which is great too! (It's from Montville)

NOt only it is cheap but it is very good! Pakoras are a delight: light, tasty and fluffy. Dahl, curry and some others are VEGAN, Yes! Please have a go, they are just started and need all support to keep going.
